My Two Most Effective Productivity Hacks
The following are my two most effective productivity hacks.
1. Writing down your tasks and goals for the upcoming day
2. Monitoring where you allocate your time
These two steps are the best initiatives I have pursued to increase my productivity.
For the first initiative, every day before I begin work I create a list of tasks that I aim to accomplish. I then prioritize that list. Personally, I now use a Google Doc’s account for the daily list which I periodically review throughout the day.
Although creating this list only takes me approximately 5 minutes per day, I estimate that I save hours throughout the day from the process. I find that so many individuals do not schedule and outline tasks and goals for their upcoming day and because of this, they end up wasting time and working ineffectively because they have not identified exactly what they need to be working on.
